ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission to Pre-KG, LKG and other classes is granted following certain procedures. Applicants at first visit the school office and register their details in November/December for the following academic year. Applicants to the KG are called for a meeting with the KG teachers in January and granted admission thereafter.
Students hailing from other schools, applying for admission to higher classes at SFS, are invited for an interview with the Principal who grants admission if there are seats available in various classes. Since most classes are always full of pupils, vacancies are few and far between. Students who get selected for admission are required to produce their original TCs and conduct certificates from the school where they studied last.
Students applying for admission to Std XI are asked to appear for an aptitude test in April, along with a copy of their mid-term examination marks in Class X. Both Science and Commerce streams are available at SFS. The Science stream includes
PCBC, PCMB and PCMC. The Commerce stream has two versions – Commerce – Computer and Commerce-Mathematics.
