Rules and Regulations
Course of study: The school prepares students for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi.
School uniform: On all working days within the school premises pupils will wear the school uniform. Boys wear olive green shorts or trousers and off-white shirts; girls have olive green pinafores and off-white shirts. Senior girls also have blazers in place of pinafores.
Part of the uniform is black shoes, olive green tie, and school belt with its emblem on brass buckle. Pupils are expected to appear spic and span in dress and maintain a smart appearance.
Boys must have their shirts tucked in and hair trimmed at regular intervals.
Pupils are to wear white uniforms on Wednesdays and First Fridays.
School terms: The academic year starts in June and ends in May every year. The academic year consists of three terms: June to September, October to January; February to May. Holidays are given from the third week of March to the third week of May. The mid-summer vacation lasts two months.
Examinations: Besides the terminal and annual examinations, there will be weekly tests whose results will also be taken into consideration for promotion.
All pupils should take the examinations as and when they are conducted. Re-tests will not be conducted for anyone who does not obtain exemption from the Principal. Such exemptions will be granted only for very serious reasons.
Perfect order and discipline should be maintained during examinations and tests. Pupils found guilty of malpractices will face stern disciplinary action. They will be awarded zero marks in the paper and consequently not considered for promotion. If a pupil fails twice in the same class, he/she should be withdrawn and TC issued.
Results declared at the end of the year are final, and will not be reconsidered under any circumstances. |
