Although managed by Catholic priests, the school admits every applicant without considering their religious affiliations. Once enrolled, however, the students are moulded into and imbued with the ideals of the school which believes that the education of the heart is the heart of education, as enunciated by Fr Mermier, the MSFS Founder.

Students belonging to all social and economic strata are admitted to the school. All background differences lie submerged under a common uniform and school ethos. As a co-educational institution, the school lays great emphasis on healthy, wholesome, interpersonal relationships. By the time students leave the school after studies, they are bursting with undying optimism and fiery enthusiasm for the successive stages and challenges of life.
